New England Steel Fabricators is a family-owned metal fabrication and machine shop in Alfred, Maine, helping customers move from idea, drawing, or damaged part to finished metal component.
Our Story
Since 1983, customers have trusted our team to help turn ideas, drawings, broken parts, production needs, and custom steel projects into finished work built with care.
Our shop supports a wide range of metal projects, from simple brackets and replacement parts to intricate multi-part assemblies. With in-house CNC plasma cutting, CNC flame cutting, shearing, forming, welding, machining, tube and pipe forming, sawing, and rolling capabilities, we are built to help customers move from concept to completed part with fewer handoffs and more control.
NESF has grown carefully by staying true to the values the business was built on. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in New England. We are focused on being the shop customers come back to because the work is dependable and the communication is clear.
